Want to ride Lake Winnipesaukee without renting your own boat, handling the driving, or booking a full private charter? Whether you’re looking for a fun, lower-cost way to get on the water yourself or the ultimate summer camp experience for your kid, we’ve got you covered. Our public wakesurf charters and kids’ summer camps are two of the easiest, most exciting ways to experience the lake. No planning stress, no experience required, and no gear needed.

Packing for your Water Sports Session with Elevated Wake Co.

Our public charters are priced per person but include all of the value customers booking a private charter get, with the benefit of meeting others who share similar interests. These charters are one of the easiest ways to rent a boat without having to organize a full group or split costs. I’ve watched these sessions turn total strangers into friends and first-timers into full-on shredders. There’s something special about being on a boat with people who are all there to try something new and have a good time.

What Makes Our Public Boat Charter Options on Lake Winni Different

Our public charters are open sessions built around sharing the boat with other riders. These are more structured options than our fully custom private charters, where we ensure each rider gets equal ride time, everyone gets coaching, and everyone gets to enjoy a laid-back day on the lake. It’s a great way to get your feet wet if you’re new to wakesurfing or just don’t feel like pulling together a full private group.

You’ll share a premium captained wake boat rental with a small group of like-minded riders, and all equipment is included from boards and ropes to life vests. You’ll rotate through rides, watch others improve, and probably leave with a few new friends.

One of the coolest parts for me as part of the staff is seeing guests help each other out as they progress together with our help. That shared energy between guests and our coaching team is a huge part of what makes these sessions feel so fun and rewarding.

If you’ve done the jet ski thing or been on a slow scenic cruise, this is a completely different experience. You’re not just along for the ride. You’re in it, learning, progressing, and feeling that adrenaline when it clicks. There’s real satisfaction here, and our format is built to guarantee progress no matter your starting point.

All Skill Levels Welcome - Why Beginners and Experienced Riders Love It

If you’ve never tried water sports before, this is one of the most welcoming ways to start. The environment is supportive, low-pressure, and structured enough to help you learn quickly. I’ve had riders tell me they’d been thinking about trying wakesurfing for years but didn’t know how to start. We’ve got you covered now, with these charters offered all season long after previously being only part of our Sunday Shred program.

At the same time, more experienced riders are totally at home here too. Some of our best sessions are when more advanced guests share tips or hype up newer riders. That mix of skill levels creates something really special. It makes the boat feel more like a team than a group of strangers. Our expert coaches are prepared to help all skill levels progress, from the basics to advanced wakesurfing tricks.

What surprises most first-timers is just how fast you can improve. The early stages of wakesurfing come with what we call “newbie gains” … big leaps in confidence and skill in a short time. That feeling of getting up for the first time or dropping the rope and locking in the pocket is pure gold. And we see it happen every single session.

Something for the Next Generation, Too

We also run a summer camp version of this experience, built just for kids and teens. Campers ages 8 to 17 get to learn wakesurfing, wakeboarding, and waterskiing, with some tubing and swim time mixed in.

This might sound cliché, but watching our campers build confidence on the water over two days is honestly one of my favorite parts of the season.

It’s fast-paced, supportive, and incredibly fun. We keep the group size small, make sure every kid gets personal coaching, and create the kind of experience they’ll be talking about all year. These sessions are led by our team of awesome coaches and captains and packed with progression, confidence, and lake life energy.

The Easiest Way to Get on the Lake

Our public charters and summer camps both offer the chance to rent a boat with a captain, without the commitment or cost of booking the entire thing. We make it easy, we make it fun, and we guarantee it will be the highlight of your summer.

It’s not just about water sports. It’s about the vibe. The laughs. The music. The shared moments with a boat full of awesome, like-minded people. And unlike jet skis or sightseeing cruises, you walk away with a real sense of achievement, something you learned, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Book a Public Charter or Summer Camp Spot Today

Our public charters run all summer and often fill fast. Camps typically sell out weeks in advance. If you are ready to get on the water, book your session today. Whether it’s for you or your kid, this is one of the most fun, beginner-friendly, and affordable ways to experience Lake Winnipesaukee. We built this format so that anyone could get out here and ride. If you’re on the fence, just book it. I’ll see you at the dock.
